Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The Lamination and Velcro are necessary to my LINKS classroom which consists of students on the spectrum. The materials created need to be durable for continued use and need to be made interactive to ensure that the needs of the students are met.
Many of our resources, especially interactive books are created with moveable parts which help the students to work on making choices, matching, and sorting.
The interactive books are paired with picture icons which needs to be laminated and the Velcro is used to attach the visuals to the appropriate location on the book.
