This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a continuation high school facing constraints in offering a variety of electives, we prioritize providing hands-on activities that not only facilitate learning but also promote mental well-being. Engaging in practical tasks allows our students to immerse themselves in the creative process, providing a much-needed escape from life's challenges while honing their math skills, as they will be using geometry to calculate transfer and placement of images.

Recognizing the therapeutic value of such activities, we are pleased to announce the launch of an after-school club focused on sublimation printing on cups.

This endeavor not only caters to our students' interests but also serves as a means for them to channel their creativity and potentially explore entrepreneurial opportunities.

The club will offer a space for students to learn the art of sublimation printing, from understanding the technical aspects to unleashing their imagination in design. Through hands-on instruction and experimentation, they will have the chance to craft unique, personalized cups and t-shirts while acquiring practical skills along the way.

In essence, our aim is to provide an enriching extracurricular experience that not only fosters skill development but also nurtures the mental well-being of our students. Through the medium of sublimation printing, we empower them to escape momentarily from life's pressures and focus on the joy of creation, all while paving the way for future success.

We are asking for a Sawgrass sublimation printer and sublimation paper to make our project possible.
