This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I get to teach high school students art! How cool is that? I love seeing them come up with unique and innovative ways to express themselves through art. I am excited to introduce them to printmaking; this will open up a new realm of possibilities for my students.

I cannot wait to see what these printmaking tools will allow my students to come up with!

I am requesting tools such as: printmaking ink plates, brayers, rubber stamp carving blocks, printing ink, and carving kits.

I have requested enough printmaking tools so that my students will not have to share and wait their turn to create. With these resources, my students will be able to jump right in and start creating and carving away.

Students enjoy being hands-on in the art room, and printmaking is a way to quickly see their efforts pay off.
