Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students thrive in an environment with multiple means of representation throughout the classroom, such as visuals and hands-on materials. It is challenging learning about financial literacy with limited resources. We have a classroom printer that we need to replace the toner cartridges so that we can create visuals and communication boards for our students. These hands-on materials are crucial for our students in the alternate curriculum because it helps them understand and communicate with each other.

We will print and laminate a student folder where each student will be able to save and keep track of their classroom dollar bills they will earn throughout the week.

We will use our classroom treasure box to promote a positive behavior support plan for our students. My students will be able to use their cash at the end of the week to buy items from our treasure box.

I cannot wait to present these learning resources to my students!
