My Students

My students are elementary students in a special education resource classroom at a Title I school. They are kindergarten through second graders who are eager to learn. My students do struggle with reading and math. They are several grade levels behind. They always enjoy learning in different ways. I try to make that happen but it can be difficult at times with making sure we have the items needed in order for this to happen. They love all kinds of hands-on activities involving math and reading. I'm a teacher in a low income, high poverty school district. I love working with my students and making sure we have items in our classroom to keep them engaged.

Since they do function below grade level, we could really use your help to make sure we get the materials needed to continue to make their learning more engaging.

At my school, 100% of the students receive free lunch.

My Project

My students are special education students in the kindergarten-second grade. My students learn math and reading skills that they are behind grade level.

I have to print and laminate a lot of resources so that my students can have various resources to learn their skills.

This requires a lot of resources that I might find online. My students enjoy resources that are colorful and that will enhance their learning. I try to find resources that are engaging and fun while they are learning their necessary skills to close gaps in their learning.
