My Project
Remember being in school and you had to hand in an assignment but you couldn't print it? You had to go find a teacher that had a printer and was willing to help you? This is why my students need your help. My eighth grade graduating students are full of so many great ideas. They are taking difficult classes, a full honor's program, where the expectations are that they will have all they need to succeed.
My students walk into my classroom every day enthusiastic, eager to learn, and full of amazingly creative ideas.
They are an awesome bunch of young adults. I teach at a Title 1 school in Brooklyn, New York and many of my students do not have the tools needed to fully complete the work they have to do.
My Project
With a color printer, and ink, my students will be able to take the work they create online and print it out in color in order to see how their hard work looks and then hand it in.
"Success occurs when opportunity meets preparation." The printer and ink we are requesting will definitely change my students' lives, allowing them to be more prepared for all their classes. By having these, they will be able to take all their hard work and then print it out, without having to worry about where they can go to get what they need. In an already stressful world, I am trying, with your help, to give my amazing kids the chance to use a printer without worrying about their work.
