This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My scholars are tenacious! They show up every day, ready and willing to work hard despite the hardships they face. They come from a place where statistics indicate that they are not likely to succeed. However, they come prepared to break stereotypes, transcend norms, expectations, and yes - statistics!

My scholars are redefining themselves and taking on challenges that prove that they are capable, intelligent, creative, brilliant, and focused.

I am blessed and humbled to be the facilitator in their quest for excellence.

My Project

The Epson workforce printer is a necessary tool in making sure that scholars have hard copies (back ups) of their work, when their work needs to be published and/or displayed or saved for further use. It will also assist teachers in printing out graphic organizers when computers are not available, in order to further understanding of content taught.

The Dell Laptop will be hooked up to the projector and will assist in providing valuable visual images in order to facilitate scholars who learn best, by making connections in their reading/life experiences through the images presented to them.
