My Students

The students at BNS are exceptional, hardworking and deserving. However, my school is lacking greatly in materials we need to create fun art projects. With a little help, we could create many works of art that my students can be proud to take home or given as gifts. Children do not have money to buy gifts and I believe an art project gives the opportunity for students to express love and gratitude through gift making.

My Project

My students love to paint! Last year I was gifted paint brushes, enough to last me at least through two semesters. However, as the year began, I realized the shaft of the brushes snapped easily when pressure was placed on the plastic handle.

This donation will help fund my art class with not only enough brushes, but also with enough paper to continue painting for the rest of the school year.

As most teachers know, our school budget is distributed at the beginning of the year and resources run low by October.
