My Project

Our school library has less than 35 books representing LGBTQIA+ identities. The small size of this collection negatively impacts students' ability to find stories that mirror their identity. It also inhibits students' ability to learn about the history and experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community. Teachers, too, have access to a small selection of titles to use in their classroom for year-round curriculum.

By supporting this project, you will help double the size of this collection in our school library just in time for Pride!

Once funded, teachers and students can access these titles to read for pleasure or use in their classroom curriculum.
