My Students
My students are loving and caring children. They come to school ready to learn and are motivated!
They work hard on their assignments and strive to do their best.
They come from low-income housing where they all receive school breakfast and lunch. Some come from other countries and are learning English.
They love STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.) They are often looking for new ways to be future innovators! I know they love school and I hope to keep them engaged all year long!
My Project
I am requesting class sets of canvas tote bags to design with my 4th Grade students. These bags will be given out to the student's families to use as a reusable tote. To inspire families to prevent plastic pollution, this Earth Day my students will be learning all about ways to help the earth. This project will teach students a simple way to reduce plastic use at their local grocery store, or for daily use. I am requesting printmaking materials, stencils, and fabric markers to decorate the tote bags for their use. The theme of Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle is the inspiration for this project!
