With living through some pretty traumatic times the past few years, it is more important now than ever before that teachers are supported and protected as they face long school years of meeting the needs of children that have experienced trauma. We need every classroom to be equipped with teachers that feel empowered to provide trauma informed instruction. Not only will this be extremely beneficial to our students, but also preserve the profession. We know that the teaching field is struggling to retain teachers and we have to begin healing and protecting some of the most important professionals in our country.
