My Project

Do you find it easy to take tests with a micro-pencil, no eraser handy, and hangry? Neither do my first graders. Although to some people, pretzels and pencils are not something remarkable, in our classroom, they can make a GREAT difference. Hello! I'm Ms. Salinas and I work with 24 unique little ones in Southern Arizona, in a small town called Nogales. All of my students are ESL learners, proudly working on their English fluency.

A snack makes all the difference in my first grade classroom.

Help us get ready for the next season of winter testing in which my students will look forward to being rewarded for their hard work in their learning. 🥨💛✏️

Having these snacks and school supplies would help our class run smoother, make it a safe, nourishing place, and keep our kiddos from getting hungry or distracted so they can focus on their learning.

The pencils are both a classroom material as well as a behavior incentive, these little ones love getting rewarded with writing materials, be it a cute eraser or a fun pencil, I want to have something nice to motivate the kids.

The bags are for different things, from storing little cut up phonics cards to putting their freshly acquired offering to the tooth fairy.

We use gallon bags to store headphones.

The facial tissue... it's sneezy season.
