This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love to have some tools to let me kids pretend play jobs they might want in the future, as well as that mimic real life.

Kids love to play pretend.

Sometimes we think only very little kids do, but even second graders love to imagine what they will be when they grow up or use toys to pretend they are at a job. For example, when students learn about money they love to use pretend cash registers and fake money and play store. I would love to give my students so many tools to play with in the classroom. Not only are they helpful for their academics, but playing with their classmates encourages social growth as well.
