My Project

My preschool students love learning through purposeful play and role-playing!

House pretend play is one of my students' favorite activities.

Using realistic dolls during pretend play fosters creativity, social skills, and emotional development. While engaging with dolls, my pre-k students practice empathy by taking on different roles, helping them understand others' perspectives and emotions.

This type of imaginative play also encourages language development, as students create stories, dialogues, and scenarios. Using dolls in pretend play also promotes problem-solving and cooperative skills, as children work together to navigate various situations. Overall, pretend play with dolls provides a strong foundation for social, cognitive, and emotional growth in young learners.

My students would be absolutely thrilled to have dolls along with doll furniture and doll tablets for alternative/assistive communication. Your support is greatly appreciated!
