Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are passionate young artists eager to explore new media and express themselves creatively. One of their favorite adventures is printmaking, a powerful art form that teaches patience and techniques. However, quality printmaking supplies are costly.
With your help, I'd love to continue introducing my students to the world of printmaking through tools like cutting tools, block printing ink, and styrofoam.
These materials will allow them to carve, ink, and press their own original designs. We will explore techniques like relief printing, monoprints, and layered coloring printing, all of which develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and fine motor control.
Your donation will give my students hands-on access to an art form they may never have the chance to experience otherwise. Each print they create becomes a reflection of their imagination, effort, and pride.
