Help me give my students the experience of interactive activities that build interpersonal relationships with one another while learning what this iPad can create.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach in a very special school—the majority of the students are minorities (and did I mention 90% females?). Most of the students come to my school for the special majors that we offer. Not only do these students work hard on the academic courses, but even more so on the major classes, they are passionate about. These students have visions: they want to be designers, businessmen/women, entrepreneurs, models, artists, and photographers.
Most of my students do not like math; I need this IPad to make my lessons FUN!
Students need math skills to help them pursue their goals and dreams. I want to use more technology to reach students in different ways; graphical representations for visual learners; videos and tutorials for students to relearn struggling concepts; extra challenging activities for high-achieving students.
