This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach in a very special school - the majority of the students are minorities and over 90% female. Most of the students come to my school for the special majors that we offer. (Fashion, Business, and Art) Not only do these students work hard on their academic courses but even more so on the major classes they are passionate about. These students want to be designers, businessmen/women, models, artists, and photographers.
Students need math skills to help them pursue their goals and dreams.
I want to use technology to reach students in different ways; graphical representations for visual learners; videos and tutorials for students to relearn struggling concepts; extra challenging activities for high achieving students.
Math can be fun and useful!!! I want to show them all that math can do!!!
