My Students

My students and I live in a rural town in Oregon and are in a Title I school. There are many military families in our community. My students love hands-on projects that get their creativity flowing. They love to experiment with new materials and are learning that it is okay if something they try doesn't work out as they had planned.

These students all have diverse backgrounds but share a love for learning and showing their creativity.

Students show motivation and a positive attitude during these projects. All of my students learn in a variety of different ways and I want to make sure that my room is filled with the tools to help my students reach their full potential.

My Project

I would love to create classroom shirts with my students with our Cricut machine in the classroom. We will use this vinyl to create personalized shirts for spirit week, fundraisers, and classroom teams.

My students are amazing and wonderful students that deserve the very best.

They are full of curiosity and determination. I have the best job in the world. I want to have a lasting impression on all of them. I want to make them lifelong learners.

I want to create a loving environment and a sense of unity. The supplies from the grant will help me do that. I would like to make shirts for all my students to wear during our virtual learning. This will show that we are united and in this together. I know my students would be so excited to receive personalized classroom shirts made by me. I am requesting heat transfer vinyl and shirts. The supplies will help me achieve my goal for unity at home and school learning.
