Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

This will be first teaching job, I know my students are from low income but will want the best learning environment possible! I want to provide hands on experiences for my students. I will have about 25 students in my classroom and want all of them to have what they need in order to succeed!! These students might be coming from families where it’s hard to provide supplies for. As a first year teacher I want each of my students to have what they need.

My Project

This will be my first year teaching with my own classroom. I am starting so fresh with hardly anything for my classroom! I will have about 25 students in my self contained classroom- teaching all subjects who I hope to give a positive learning experience to. I want them to have all the basic supplies that are needed for learning. Most will be coming from low income families so they might not come to school with even the basic supplies like clipboards, pencils, dry erase boards, and rulers. I hope to provide these for them so they can reach their highest potential in school! Thank you for helping out!
