This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my history classroom, I encourage students to think critically, make connections, and reflect on the past in meaningful ways. To help them take ownership of their learning, I want to provide each student with a dedicated notebook to create their own history portfolio. These portfolios will serve as a place for them to document their learning, analyze historical events, and express their thoughts through writing, sketches, and primary source reflections.
Unfortunately, many of my students don’t have the resources to purchase their own notebooks.
With your support, I can provide every student with a high-quality notebook, ensuring they have a personal space to track their progress and develop a deeper understanding of history.
