My Students

Our students come from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Most of them are motivated to learn new concepts and make connections between science and their day-to-day life. We see a spark in their eyes each time we do hands-on labs to reinforce the concepts they have learned in class.

Since many of our students missed proper science education due to distance learning and hybrid learning in the past couple of years, we are striving to bring back our inquiry labs to trigger their enthusiasm in learning science.

These days of the pandemic, we are facing so many challenges, especially in our science classrooms in order to do meaning full labs. We are doing our best by using what we have. Every day, there are new things to learn and new problems to solve.

My Project

We see a spark in our student's eyes each time we do hands-on labs to reinforce the concepts they have learned in class. Since many of our students missed proper science education due to distance learning and hybrid learning in the past couple of years, we are striving to bring back our inquiry labs to trigger their enthusiasm in learning science.

The refrigerator we had in our department is not functioning so we would like to replace it with your generous donations.

Physics and chemistry both use eggs every year for various labs like rubber egg experiment egg drop and egg in a bottle experiment to name a few. We store food products for experiments like enzyme lab, nutrient lab, rainbow milk demo, red cabbage and fruits for making different acid-base indicators. We need to store temperature-sensitive chemicals, ice, dry ice and hold solutions for chilling for temperature dependent experiments.
