Our class is full of awesome students who are eager to stretch their brains and get gritty! We live in a growing suburb that clings to its agricultural roots and maintains a "small town" community feel. Several of our 32 classmates receive free or reduced lunch, and some are learning English as their second language.
We love hands-on learning!
And we think that science experiments are “the bomb.” Technology excites us, and mysteries entice us to learn. We’re intrigued by how others in the US lived without the technology we have today, and how they used natural resources.
We embrace digging in to discover, and perseverance through projects! We all love to do experiments and interactive activities, as well as utilizing technology to enhance our learning.
My Project
We like to love technology and we like to share our work with each other; the mic stand will allow us to make awesome presentations to our whole class, and will facilitate students leading their peers. Speaking and listening is a standard that we focus on, and having a mic stand and access to color copies will bring our presentations up to the next level and inspire us to greater heights!
Rainy days means indoor recess which isn't always as much fun as going outside.
We had many rain days last year, and Uno and Banana Grams will make our indoor recess way more fun!
