Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are spending hours of research, preparation, procedure, and analysis! They deserve nice poster boards to show all their hard work!

My students are all Juniors attending school on the south side of Chicago.

There are 140 students dispersed into 6 biology classes. According to the 2009-2010 school statistics, 99.1% were black, 82.5% were low income,8.7% of the students have special needs, BUT they are all 100% lovable.

My Project

After all the students' hard work and time on their science fair projects, they deserve somewhere to display their work! The juniors are working hard on their science fair projects individually and showing how much they have learned the past three years. The tri-folds will help them feel special and like real scientists during science fair night.

A lot of the students at my school cannot afford tri-fold posters.

The posters will help the students focus on other costs of the science fair, in order to make their experiment the best it can be! The students are doing excellent on their experiments and they can't wait to display their work!
