Help me give my students poster boards and markers to create literature based presentations.

I teach English Language Arts to students residing in the inner city of Atlanta. The overwhelming majority of the students I teach live in poverty. However, in spite of the challenges often associated with low SES, the students arrive to school ready to learn. Due to some academic deficits, the resources provided at the district and local level often fail to meet the needs of my students.
I incorporate technology along with various styles of genres of literature from all content areas in my classroom.
Aligning the ELA standards with Math, Science and Social Studies helps to support my grade level as well as keeps the students engaged .
I would like to have resources to expand the learning beyond the basic reading of fiction texts. I would like my students to have more experience reading books, articles and journals online as well as presenting information read to their classmates. My goal is to teach students that reading spans across the curriculum, not simply in ELA class.
Book reports and presentations of the sort challenge students to use higher order thinking skills in an effort to understand and interpret literature.
The reports are used to communicate information which has been compiled as a result of reading, interpreting and finally reporting the important information as well as the reader's thoughts regarding the text.
It is important that all of the students have the materials necessary to create quality reports to present to their classmates. Posters and markers are a great start to any type of project. We know these materials will be a great way to get our students excited about reporting what they have read.
