I am lucky to work with urban students who love working together, taking risks, and asking questions.
They might get stuck, but can persevere, using each other, and accomplish their goal.
They love working with different kids of people and talking about everything. I put them into new teams every month and they are very good at making each new team strong.
They love acting, being creative, and expressing their thinking. Facilitating them is my favorite job in the world.
My Project
My students work hard on their math and science units. They really go deep as a team and love sharing what they have discovered. We use inquiry based learning and they really make sense of the lessons. My students are trained to learn from others every day.
They get up front of their peers to present regularly to share their processing.
We would love to "up our game" with some tools to make our learning not only more professional but accessible for all learners.
This set of microphones and tools would give our teams of learners both a chance to be heard and get them comfortable in presenting.
