My Project
Our school has over 100 new to the US students this year, primarily from Spanish speaking countries. All students are required to take social studies courses, including US History, which is brand new to my students.
These supplies will help us draw out the important concepts they are learning for the first time.
Science shows that drawing and illustrations help us connect both new concepts and new language.
Using fresh markers and chart paper will allow us to have student-created references around the room while they continue to increase their knowledge of the English language and US History.
