My Students

I try to teach my students how to be professional. How can I do that when my wonderful LCD projector is propped up by binders and empty plastic containers on a wobbly table? I am an art teacher in a New York public school serving around 500 students from Kindergarten through 8th grade.

In New York we are facing the worst budget crisis since the 1970's.

Classrooms are under-funded and overcrowded. Supplies are hard to come by. My students are inquisitive, visual learners and I love showing them presentations with my LCD projector. It really brings the art curriculum to life.

My Project

My students would take everything more seriously and see me as a true professional if I had the proper presentation materials. A media cart on wheels with a locking cabinet would be the perfect way to store and present my projector and laptop. An extension cord would benefit my ability to travel with the cart.

The possibilities are endless and having the proper cart for our digital projector will benefit my art students on all grade levels.

With your help my students will have great experiences with art history. Help me reach my students with technology and look professional doing so.
