Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Hi! I m a 6th grade Science Teacher at Southside Preparatory Magnet Academy. I dream of being able to provide my students with the opportunity to participate in many of the activities that magnet and preparatory programs provide to their students. However, because of lack of funding and the majority of parents being unable to pay large or any fees at all, many of my hopes and dreams for my students remain only hopes and dreams.

We are preparing for our 1st Annual Science & Engineering Fair.

Many of our students cannot afford to purchase material for this event. With this in mind, I most humbly ask each of you to contribute to our Stem centered program and event. We certainly hope that you would contribute to our future Scientist, Engineers, and medical professionals by assisting us or purchasing the most imperative component of the student's project, which are the presentations board. We graciously thank you and know that your contribution would make a world of difference for some student who otherwise would not be able to participate. We Thank you again and we look forward to hearing from you soon!
