Preschoolers' Pets for Language Development

My Project

Preschool students love animals. We will use these pets to improve their speech and language development. These engaging toys provide opportunities to target multiple receptive and expressive language skills. They move and make sounds. The parrot even repeats anything the child says! That's a fantastic reinforcer.

Let's get communicating by bringing pets to our therapy sessions!

Preschoolers love their pets. We will be adding a dog, cat, fish, and parrot to our room. These pets will be fun additions to my speech and language sessions. These toys provide repetition, structure, and predictability. The students will maintain their attention to these lessons because of how engaging they are. With these fun new resources, we will increase the students' communication skills.
