This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal for this project is to provide my students with a large dollhouse which will allow multiple students to play at the same time. Along with the dollhouse, furniture and dolls are needed to encourage play, assist students with social and emotional skills, and encourage problem solving skills. These items would be a great addition to our classroom, as most of the students gravitate towards the dramatic play area daily.
Dollhouse play helps assist young learners by encouraging development skills such as communication and social-emotional learning. The dollhouse, doll figure family set, and the dollhouse furniture requested are made of durable materials that can be wiped/cleaned, and could provide greater longevity use in our classroom.
