Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our students have been loving exploring the dramatic play area, however, we do not have many different types of materials for them to explore. My goal as a teacher is to be able to give my students as many healthy experiences and expose them to different vocabulary. With these materials, my children will be able to explore different environments and be able to experience different experiences.

During the school year, we focus on different topics and if these materials will enhance the students learning experiences.

For example, I added materials for the dramatic play area for a grocery store. I would add these materials into the area and introduce vocabulary to the children that they would hear in the grocery store. I would also integrate small group activities with the children to keep building on their skills.
