Preschool Special Education Fine Motor and Sensory Exploration

My Students

My classroom is full of energetic and eager to learn preschoolers. They range from ages 2 to 5 years old. I teach in a special education preschool classroom.

I want to give my students every learning experience possible.

I strive to help my students in any way possible. It can be hard to meet the large range of needs and levels in my classroom with limited resources.

My Project

The products listed below will help support my students when working on fine motor skills in the classroom. For example, the Spike the Hedgehog will help build up hand muscles and fine motor skills as my students place the chunky pegs into the the holes. In addition, the math counter manipulatives will be great to strengthen finger grasp when they work on sorting colors and objects.

Play is a very important part of our learning day and these materials will provide my students with hands-on experiences.

The sensory materials listed below will help meet the sensory needs within the classroom. The Pop Play Sensory Dimpl is a great resource for sensory exploration, learning cause-and-effect, and fine motor skills. In addition, the What's Inside Soft Feely Box will provide a sensory experience with objects for my students to explore and feel.
