My Students
I get the pleasure of serving some AMAZING little humans! My students live in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods that require support and resources while in the classroom. A challenge my families face is the ability to provide extra resources and opportunities for their children.
My goal is to get each student the support needed to be successful in and out of the classroom!
My students are creative, loving, and hands-on learners who come to school each day to try new things and take brave chances.
My Project
Hands-on learning is so important for all students, but it is especially important for our youngest learners and friends with special needs. These hands-on materials will help spark students’ interests in exploration and discovery. Students will be able to use these materials to further their knowledge while they believe that they are just playing! The binoculars and flashlights will help make them excited about exploring the world around them! Bugs are always a big hit and fun to inspect. The tubes are great for beginning to understand scientific phenomena like gravity and viscosity, as well as being helpful as a fidget tool to be able to focus on other learning!
