Preschool Rock Stars Moving On to Kindergarten

My students need graduation caps, kindergarten-related books and diplomas to celebrate their accomplishments this year.

My Students

My students are moving throughout the room daily.

They are 4- and 5-year-old children. All my children come from low income or high-risk families. Our program is not able to ask for donations for anything including soap, tissue, paper and the other essentials that I provide from my own money. This is my students' first school experience, and I want to offer them the most positive experience possible.

My Project

My students have worked hard this year! I would like to celebrate their accomplishments with a ceremony to honor them and to showcase their accomplishments for the parents. We need graduation caps, kindergarten-related books and diplomas.

Students will be learning songs and practicing for this last day.

I would also like to provide all students with the book "Kindergarten, Here I Come" to get them excited about kindergarten and so that they can learn some of the new expectations in kindergarten. My hope is that families will read this book together and talk about kindergarten with their children so that they will not be scared of going to a new classroom.
