Getting ready for the first day of school is a lot of work, and I always start planning early. This will be my 2nd year in Pre-K, and I'm excited to see what the new year brings. Getting this project funded will ensure that my classroom is ready and that my children will have what they need to begin a successful school year.
My goal is for my students to get the best learning experience possible.
The printer ink will allow me to make charts and games that are highly engaging. The durable folders will be used year-long to help me send papers home and communicate with families. The photo printer paper and ink will allow me to label the room and help me organize things so my kids can find and put things away in the right spot. I will also use the photo paper /ink to print pictures for the scrapbooks I make for my students every year and add photos to our bulletin boards to show the children in action. The page protectors make the pages for our class books more durable (the students make books monthly, and we share them in our classroom library).
I love to recognize children for being a "smarty" (they are paying attention or when they get something they struggle with...name, letters, counting). I award them with "smarty" beads or bracelets as a small token for their hard work. The children love receiving them, and the rest of the class loves to cheer them on with our "Awesome Cheer."
