Preschool Puppet Theater

Help me give my students puppets to enhance our story times and extend our learning into the dramatic play area.

My Project

Children love puppets and make believe. Mr. Rogers knew this so many years ago. We have come into an age of screens and children just watching others do things instead of experiencing these things for themselves.

I have found that children really do love the interaction with puppets.

They feel safe and comfortable with them. We can turn story time into an interactive learning experience that children will love and remember with the use of these puppets.

Children will be able to interact during story time as well as have time to play with the puppets themselves in dramatic play to retell stories they have heard from our lesson plans or to unlock their imagination and make new stories come to life. This will enhance their literacy and social skills and prepare them for success in school.
