it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Learning to cut and create projects can be frustrating enough when you're three, now imagine trying to develop your fine motor skills with scissors that don't work!
My students are curious and active and they love creating projects.
However, we are using scissors that have been in our program for over ten years and most of them do not work very well. This is very frustrating for my little learners whose only struggle should be developing their fine motor skills.
My Project
With a new set of Fiskar's scissors, my students will be able to focus on their fine motor skills development and not wonder if their inability to cut is due to their abilities alone or as a result of dilapidated tools. New scissors will allow them to learn to cut faster! The wiggly eyes will add to our classroom projects and increase our students' enthusiasm.
Please consider my students for your donation, it just isn't fair that my little learners should have to struggle because of the outdated and old materials that we have in our program due to budget cuts.
