Preschool Play is Hard Work!

Help me give my students experiences to help them learn social skills, explore arts, and fulfill their sensory needs.

My Project

Our class provides children with their first school experience. In our class we learn through exploration and play.

Some of our children have special needs and require supports in unique ways.

In the kitchen center we are able to explore pretend foods for those with food aversions. Other children learn to role play, share, and work cooperatively.

Our sensory table provides sensory input though textures. Students learn how to pour, fill, measure and share while working in this area.

Games provide great life lessons. Students practice playing by the rules and turn taking. All important skills for life!

And of course we cannot forget painting! Creating is accessible to all our students.

Our class might look like they are playing but it’s all hard work!
