Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a pre-k teacher at a Title I school. My students love expressing themselves through art. With pre-k students, I have to incorporate more visual supports and examples for the students to reference. Having an easel will also allow for the class to have a meeting area with interactive written morning messages. It will allow them to use it daily with other peers. This would be a great addition to my classroom.
An easel will allow the opportunity for my students to actively engage in morning meetings, as well as anchor chart creation for all other subjects during the day.
The addition of an easel to our classroom will also provide an area where students can reference needed daily information.
