My Students

My students live in lower socioeconomic neighborhoods that require support and resources for learning. One of the biggest challenges we are facing is providing resources for the students in the classrooms to help with their emotions.

My students need additional books in the classroom to help learn strategies for social emotional learning.

These resources will be provided for students to use while in their classrooms and teachers to intentionally instruct social emotional skills.

My Project

My students needs books to help them learn new self-regulation. We are using a curriculum in our school to help our students with social-emotional learning. The students in preschool need a lot of visuals, pictures, literacy, and examples to help them learn and implement the strategies we are learning.

The preschool students will use literacy to help support their social-emotional learning.

These books will be paired with different lessons throughout the school year to help support and show examples of the different emotions a person has. These books will help support the students on learning the emotions while giving examples.

Help me put more literacy in the students hand while learning social-emotional regulation at the same time.
