Preschool Loves Stories

My students need a mobile listening center, a CD player and a set of 8 headphones. Students in my classroom will be able to enjoy listening to stories any time with this.

My Students

Preschool students love stories. We have an old listening center with headphones that hurt the students' ears.The cd player works on and off, which is very frustrating to the students and myself as the teacher. With a new listening center, we will be able to listen to our favorite stories anytime!

I teach at a large public school in California.

We are a Title I and National Blue Ribbon school. I have 2 classes of preschool students every day. Our preschool program gets students ready for their Kindergarten year. Parents and teachers work together in the classroom to provide a safe and engaging learning environment for our students. The students are so eager to learn and very curious.

My Project

The materials I am requesting will give students the opportunity to hear stories at any time as if someone were reading to them one on one. They will be able to select stories from the listening center storage center and use the cd player. The headphones help them to hear the story loud and clear without the distraction of other noises in the classroom.

By supporting my project, you will be helping to support literacy in my classroom.

So many of my students enjoy hearing a good story and often want that story read again and again. Your support will give them the chance to enjoy the stories they love!
