This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would like to provide my young thinkers opportunities for scientific discovery. My preschoolers are naturally curious. They love exploring and experimenting in their environment. I would like to develop their love of learning through supporting a healthy love of science and by creating a science center that safely allows for experimentation with liquids and solids. The following science equipment will give them the chance to futher their knowledge of scientific inquiry and experimentation and to better understand how the scientific world interacts. Research shows that taking the right approach to early scientifc learning will foster a life long love of science, will give preschoolers a basic grounding in scientific concepts and thinking as well as promote team work, language and math development and critical thinking and problem solving skills. I strongly believe that developing a stronger science center will encourage my children to investigate and love science.
