This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach amazing, energetic, creative students with exceptional needs. My current students are 4 year old preschoolers. I currently work with a co-teacher and our classroom is a collaborative classroom with general and special education students working and learning together. Many students in our classroom have learning disabilities ranging from severe (need most support) to mild (need minimal support) which affect their ability to access and use age-appropriate curriculum. Despite all their challenges our students enjoy learning and sharing with each other. Although we are learning remotely, our students are doing their very best every day in this new normal school. Our school is a Title I school with high poverty and 85% English Language Learners.

My Project

The digital materials on Teachers Pay Teachers will be used by my students to practice basic early learning skills during distance learning. Most of my students do not have access to printers so this limits the learning materials they have readily available.

The resources on Teachers Pay Teachers have been designed by teachers for students to use during this new normal of distance learning.

Providing access to these teacher created resources will allow my students and their families an easier way to practice many of the much needed early learning skills.
