Help me give my students Magnetic Tiles, LEGOS, and other materials for a hands-on learning experience using STEM and building activities that support their creativity and learning.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Preschool is the first step in a long journey for every student. Learning and playing work hand in hand in preschool by allowing students to see, touch, and use their imagination as they learn. Using magnetic tiles and LEGOS will encourage students to create something new in the classroom and will help my students connect to every part of their learning. Forming letters with Play-Doh, forming new shapes with known geometrical shapes, and putting blocks of different sizes together to build something. All these activities will help them develop skills that they will use as they learn to write, read, count, and even add and subtract. When the mind and the hands work together, they create a whole new world of knowledge and abilities.
