My students are AMAZING! They have taught me so much and they made me a better teacher. I teach at a public preschool and have taught there for 5 years. My students are all from different backgrounds when it comes to not only family makeup, but family incomes as well. In our preschool classroom, we teach acceptance, diversity and a very special family dynamic.
This year, I have 13 boys, and yes you read that right!
13 boys! They have taught me so many different lessons that I needed to learn to become a better teacher.
My Project
These science and math materials would be great additions to my students learning materials! Due to budget cuts, as a teacher I have been providing materials for my room out of pocket. These learning materials could be the materials that inspire a child in my room to be a scientist, doctor, or astronaut. STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) is a huge educational movement that is at the forefront of education. While I have some older materials that student use, these materials would enrich my students learning experiences and make my classroom more full service to offer for my students.
