My Students

Our school serves the youngest learners in an urban preschool setting. Our students are 3, 4, and 5 years old and come from a variety of cultures and family backgrounds. Seventy-eight percent of the students in our school qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. We serve typically developing students as well as those with a wide variety of special needs.

Our students come to school each day ready and willing to learn.

They are full of energy! They love to read, play with their friends, get messy, and create projects. They are curious, creative, and up for any challenge presented to them.

My Project

My students need lots and lots of activities to help them learn and grow. My students need materials to practice language skills, math skills, social emotional skills and fine motor skills. All of these skills are so important in their journey toward kindergarten.

My students love to practice their skills every day.

Soft color cubes will help them practice counting and sorting. A feelings pocket chart will help them learn to express their feelings. Play doh will help them practice their fine motor skills. My students love to play simple games. The position word game and giant dominoes will help them gain critical thinking skills while allowing them to interact with their peers.
