My Project
Since April 2020, I have been birdwatching with my students. What started as a COVID family home learning activity has become a staple in the spring in my classroom. This year, a coworker and I won a grant to go on birdwatching field trips through a local environmental organization.
I am requesting additional sets of binoculars so that each student will be able to have binoculars for our field trips.
Additionally, I am requesting new field guides so that we can have a classroom set of new field guides. These guides are super easy for my preschoolers to use as they can look by color and find the most common birds in Illinois.
