This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello, these items will help my students who are 3-5 years old and all have Autism. We will use the dirt, pots, and flower and vegetable seeds to plant together and watch them grow. The sunglasses and magnifying glasses will help us look for bugs. The games will help get the students outside and enjoy the sun and weather.

My project goal is to have my classroom help my students in every way.

I want them to be able to learn about everything, including the outdoor world. I would appreciate any help you can offer. These items will help my students learn how to plant seeds and watch how watering and sun can help plants grow. Also, they will watch the bugs outside, watch for bees, and see how they go to the flowers.

All our students have autism or a different learning disorder. Our students are nonverbal, and that makes them no different than any other students when it comes to wanting to run and play outside or wanting to play and learn. Our paraprofessionals are taught how to communicate with our students, so they know what they want and need. Our students still need your help with the gift of your donation; each item picked will help our students in different ways. Yet every item will be cherished because it was a gift we received from you.
