Prepping for the PSSAs

My Project

In a few short weeks my third grade scholars will complete two weeks of PSSA testing in reading and math. PSSAs can be daunting, especially because in third grade it is their very FIRST time taking the test. To help my students stay focused and on task, I provide small incentives as a reward. Students will earn other prizes by working hard, taking their time, and using their scrap paper. It's hard to focus on testing when you're hungry or feel like you're unprepared.

Your donations will help give my students access to practice problems for state testing, pencils and erasers, muffins for a quick breakfast, and minty snacks to help them do their best on the test!

My students prepare all year long to be able to show what they know on the PSSAs. They have worked so, so hard this year and I hope I will be able to reward them while they PROVE it!
