Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In this cart are the bare essentials that my class will need for next year to be organized. Each notebook goes towards helping keep projects, notes, and learning organized by subject. The colors are specific towards which assignment belongs to them so students can easily find the green folder to put their unfinished work away.
While our school normally provides these materials, our budget has been decreased so we're not sure what materials we will be receiving this upcoming year.
As so, I want to be extra prepared and have everything ready to go by the first week of school to cause less stress for myself and less confusion while the students learn the procedures of the classroom.
As well as notebooks and journals, I want to get them each a binder to store their finished projects and track their growth throughout the year. At the end of the year, the binder will become a memory book that the students created themselves throughout the year!
Lastly, the paper will be used for all of our art projects throughout the year. We spend each month learning about 1-2 specific artists. Once we finish a research project on them, we create our own version of a famous art piece. Having the same type of paper for the projects will just make everything easier to complete and organize at the end of the year.
